Lodge, 1811 by Ignatius Bonomi. Dressed sandstone; Welsh slate roof with
stone ridge stack. 2 storeys, 2 windows. Central doorway with boarded door.
Horizontal sashes and fixed-light windows with metal lattice glazing.
First-floor sill bands. Shallow-pitched, hipped roof has deep overhanging
eaves with rendered, boarded soffit. Single-bay returns have similar
windows. Single-storey pent rear wing forms catslide with main roof. At
entrance to grounds of Skelton Castle (q.v.)
