GV II

War memorial. 1918. Limestone. Classical style square pillar
with plinth and plain panels with names and inscriptions to men who
served and died in 1914-18 war, with names added for those who
served in 1939-45 war. Guilloche frieze and cyma-moulded cornice,
low pediment with ivy carving in tympanum and antifixae, vase
finial. A simple well-designed example.
