Country house, now a Theological College. c.1810. Stucco,
colourwashed, with hipped slate roofs. Ashlar plinth and
dressings. 4 ridge and 2 side wall stacks. 2 storeys, 7 bays
wide by 3 bays deep. C plan. Windows are mainly glazing bar
sashes. West front has off-centre roofless Doric portico and
doorcase with eared architrave. To left, 2 sashes. Above, 3
sashes. South side has 2 setback bays to right. To left, C20
French window flanked to left by single and to right by 5 tall
sashes. Above, 7 smaller sashes. East side has blocked window
and door. To right, a sash. Above, blocked window and 2 sashes.
Rear wing has to east, 2 sashes and a casement. Above, a sash.
Rear has to left a round headed sash and to right, walkway with
C20 fenestration. Above, 3 sashes. Interior has stone
cantilever dogleg stair with iron stick balusters and scrolled
handrail. Single marble and timber Classical fireplaces.
Principal rooms have foliate plaster cornices.
