Farmhouse, now house. Early C17 and early C18, remodelled
c1929, with addition to left c1965, in sympathetic style.
Coursed squared stone with internal cruck structure and stone
slate roofs with 2 coped stone gable stacks.
2 storeys; 5 window range. Windows are mainly C20 glazing bar
casements. Central 2-storey block has incomplete ground floor
lintel band and a coped gable. Two 2-light casements and
below, a 3-light casement and a chamfered segmental pointed
doorway. Gabled block to left has a 2-light chamfered
mullioned window with label mould and below, two 2-light
casements. Lower L-plan range, to right , has a smaller
3-light chamfered mullioned window with label mould in the
gable, and below it, a 2-light casement. To right, a smaller
2-light casement with chamfered stone surround. Set back
additions, to left, 2 storeys, have 2 through-eaves dormers
with 3-light stone mullioned casements.
INTERIOR has 2 pairs of crucks with collars, and chamfered
span beams. Chamfered 4-centred arched stone fireplace.
