Marked on OS map as a hospital.
House, now nursing home. c1840 with early and mid C20
additions and alterations. Coursed squared stone with ashlar
dressings and hipped and gabled slate roof with 2 brick ridge
stacks. Plinth, quoins, first floor band, dentilled eaves.
Windows are an unusual form of plain sashes with
multi-keystone lintels. 2 storeys; 3 window range. Central
Doric portico with cornice and scrolled pediment, flanked by
single windows. Left return, 2 windows, has to left a mid C19
addition, 2 storeys, 2 windows. Full-width glazed lean-to
addition. Right return has a 2 storey canted bay window.
