Lodge and attached gateway. 1896. For Mr Levy. Coursed rubble
with ashlar dressings and plain tile roofs. Scottish Baronial
style.
Raised and partly crowstepped gables, single gable and side
wall stacks. 2 storeys. Gabled south-east front has a 3-light
stone mullioned window with label mould and coat of arms.
Below, a segment-headed 4-light cross mullion window.
South-west front, facing the drive, has to right an attached
round tower, 2 stages, with conical roof and corbelled first
floor ashlar band. Single light window to the lower stage, and
above, at right angles to it, a round window. To left, a
lean-to porch with a single light window and a doorway to
left. INTERIOR not inspected.
At the corner, an attached 4-centred archway linking the lodge
to the gateway. Gateway has square moulded ashlar piers with
gabled caps and wooden gates.
