Vestry offices and attached railings and gates. 1864. Ashlar
and coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings and hipped
slate roof with 2 capped ridge stacks. Jacobean Revival style.
EXTERIOR: plinth, sill and lintel bands, rusticated pilasters,
moulded cornice and blocking course with urns on pedestals.
Central semicircular pediment with finial, dated 1864. 2
storeys; 5 x 8 windows. Windows are mainly stone mullioned
cross casements.
Front has bays divided by pilasters, with double pilasters
flanking the central bay and at the corners. 5 windows, the
central one with 3 lights. Central portico with rusticated
square columns, enriched frieze and parapet with central crest
and flanking finials. Round-arched entrance with diamond
keystone, covering a pair of half-glazed doors with fanlight.
Single window in each side. On either side, 2 windows.
Outside, spiked wrought-iron railing with 2 pairs of square
ashlar gate piers with moulded caps, and 2 double gates.
Right return, in similar style, has 3 windows on each floor.
Lower rear range has 5 windows, 2 of them double transomed,
divided by pilasters with finials. Below, to left, a
flat-roofed porch with string course, parapet, crest and urns,
moulded round-arched doorway with double doors, keystone and
fanlight, flanked by rusticated pilasters. To its right, a
2-light mullioned window. To right again, a single storey
projection in similar style, with round corner and 2-light
mullioned window. Rear gable has a double transomed window
flanked by single light windows.
