Terraced house. c1830-40. Ashlar over brick with stucco to
right return and rear, with renewed tile roof and 2 right end
stacks with iron balcony.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys with shallow basement, 2 first-floor
windows. Ashlar detailing includes rustication to ground floor
drawn into voussoirs over door; second-floor band, frieze and
cornice with blocking course. First and second floors have 6/6
sashes, those to first floor are taller; ground floor has
tripartite window with 1/1 sashes; all in plain reveals, and
with sills except to first floor. C20 window to basement.
Entrance to left a 5-panel door with lattice frieze and
fanlight with decorative glazing bars.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: first-floor continuous balcony has
scrolled heart motif.
Part of a fine street of mostly 1830s and 1840s terrace
houses.
