Probably C18. Built on the rock of the river bed. Slate rubble with slate
quoins and slate roof with deeply overhanging eaves. Two and five storeys,
set in the steep river bank. Long irregular plan, with 6-paned sashes
and long 12-paned sashes. House at upper street level is two storeys, and
has a centre boarded door, two windows on lower floor and two above in gabled
dormers.

Old Mill Studios. Nos 2 to 6 (consec) and Ghyll side form a group with
Stock cottage, North Road.
