GV II

House. 2nd half C18 with C19 additions and alterations. Red brick in Flemish
bond; Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys with attic, 3 bays, with 4-bars C19 wing of 2
builds to rear right. Central flat-roofed brick porch with early-mid C19.
6-panel door (top 2 panels glazed) in reeded architrave with roundels to
corners. Windows are C19 4-pane sashes in flush wood architraves. lst-floor
band of 3 stepped courses. Moulded stone kneelers; ashlar coping; C19 tabled
end stacks. Rear: a side-sliding sash at eaves with relieving arch to former
window on its right; wing has 2-light, 12-pane, side-sliding sashes. Left
return: a 2-light, 12-pane, side-sliding sash to attic. Segemental header-brick
relieving arch. Right return: house has two 12-pane sashes; wing has 2 similar
windows, a smaller one to 1st floor, right, and a tiny 8-pane side-sliding sash
to 1st floor, left.
