Corner building with two fronts and rounded portion between. Part of No 1
Castle Sreet. Early C19. Three storeys. Symmetrical portion of two
windows each facing Union Street and Castle Street respectively and a
curved portion between with one window in it, but the Castle Street front
has an extra window bay set back. Yellow brick, the top floor stuccoed.
Cornice above each floor. Parapet. Long and short quoins, at the angles
of the symmetrical portion. On the first floor of the Union Street front
a flattened bow window of three lights with pilasters between the lights
and cornice over. Glazing bars intact above the ground floor.

Nos 1 to 13 (consec) and No 15 form a group.

Also No 2A with Nos 1, 1A and 2 Castle Street form a group.
