C16/C17 and later cottage. Red brick and timber framed with brick infilling.
Hipped tiled . 1 storey, 4 windows, leaded casements. East side of door C19
bow window with Gothic glazing bars. East end has very large external chimney
with small leaded lights on rear wall each side of fireplace. Spits etc. still
extant although modern brick stack now incorporated within old fire place. Rear
wings.
Windylow, with Water's Cottage and Dimmocks Cottage (buildings of local interest)
form a group.
