11/187 Gate, gate piers and
screen at Ickwell Lodge

GV II

Gate, gate piers and screen. Circa 1874 by Henry Clutton for Joseph
Shuttleworth. Dressed limestone, gates of wrought iron. 3 piers, with
chamfered angles, moulded tops, and ball finials with strapwork decoration.
Upper part of screen has square-headed arcading and moulded coping. Gates
have variety of wrought iron decorative motifs, including quatrefoil panels to
base and finials to top.
