TL 1444 OLD WARDEN

11/125 Lakeside Cottage

GV II

Shuttleworth estate cottage. C18, with C19 addition and alterations. Timber
framed construction with colourwashed roughcast render to exterior. Mottled
red brick addition to N. Clay tile roofs. 2-room plan, one storey and attics.
S elevation: central part-glazed door flanked by 2-light casements. 3 dormer
windows with 2-light casements. All openings have pointed-arched heads, the
dormer gables also following this shape. Red brick integral stack serving RH
room, rebuilt red brick external stack to rear wall serving LH room. Rear
block has variety of casements, some C20.
