House. C17-early C18, altered and extended C20 to incorporate former
outbuildings to left and rear. Original house to right is of coursed ironstone
rubble with Uppingham stone quoins, raised thatched roof and coped gables.
Ironstone ashlar chimney to left, red brick chimney to right, 2 storeys, 2 bays.
C20 barred wooden casements, 2-light to ground floor right, remainder 3-light.
Ground floor windows have Uppingham stone lintels, wooden lintels to upper
windows. To left is C20 projecting gable, replacing former cartway, with
concrete tile roof, door and first floor casement. Former outbuildings attached
to left also have concrete tile roof and 2 C20 barred wooden windows to ground
floor. Other former outbuildings to rear right are part altered to monopitch,
with C20 porch in angle with original house.
