Vicarage).
GV II
House, now used as vicarage. Circa 1840-50. Dressed ironstone with pale
limestone quoins, bonded jambs, flush band courses and sill strings. Welsh slate
roof, stone gable copings, flanking ashlar chimneys. 3 storeys, 3 bays.
Marginally glazed sashes, narrower to central bay. Central 6-panelled door with
intersecting glazing bars to semi-circular fanlight, and C20 glazed gabled
porch. Attached to left is garden wall with lean-to green-house abutting house.
No 3, Main Street, attached to rear is late C19 and not of special interest. No
1 is included for high quality of masonry and original detail.
