House and outbuildings, the latter formerly a pair of cottages. House is
early-mid C19. Coursed ironstone rubble with Uppingham stone quoins and window
dressings. C20 concrete tile roof, stone coped gables, flanking red brick
chimneys. 2 storeys, 2 bays. 4-pane sashes, central top-lit flush-panelled
door, all openings with bonded jambs and stone lintels. Outbuildings are also of
coursed ironstone rubble but with corrugated iron roof, formerly thatched.
Formerly of 1 1/2 storeys, now single storey. 2 bays. Each bay has board door to
left and shuttered window to right, all with stone lintels. Additional narrow
window to left. Traces of blocked openings below eaves line. Included for group
value.
