Farmhouse. Dated 1807 with later additions and alterations. Red brick
on rendered ashlar plinth; low-pitched hipped slate roof, apparently
with open well; late C19 axial red brick ridge stacks with dentilled
capping to left and right to front and rear. Square plan. 3 storeys
with painted stone cill bands and brick pilasters, those to corners
with full-height round-arched recesses. 3-window front, 4-paned sashes
with grooved stone lintels and raised keystones. Central entrance;
plain panelled door with rectangular overlight in pilastered doorcase
under simple wooden portico. Datestone above central first-floor window
has fluted and rosette decoration; inscription "IM/1807". Ground floor
of left return has late C19 canted bay windows to centre and right bays.
