GV II

Group of 4 attached cottages. Nos 2 and 3 dated 1751. Nos 1 and 4 added early
C19. Thin coursed hammer dressed stone, stone slate roof. 2 storeys. Earliest
build (Nos 2 and 3) have quoins and 2 bays of thin flat faced mullioned windows
of 2 wide lights and doorway with monolithic jambs. Added cottages (Nos 1 and
4) are back to back. Doorway with monolithic jambs flat faced mullioned windows
with projecting sills of 2 lights. Gutter brackets. 4 stacks to ridge. Coped
gables with kneelers. Rear has decorative date plaque inscribed "F:B" set
1751
between windows.
