House, dated in the 1620's with contemporary barn attached to rear (now
converted to form dwelling). Hammer dressed stone, ashlar quoins to barn,
rendered to house, stone slate roof. 2 storeys. House of irregular plan with
wide south facing gable with side aisle to west. All are double chamfered
mullioned windows. 3-light window with small chamfered arch headed light with
sunken spandrels over to 1st floor of aisle; 6-light window with 5-light window
over to 1st floor, both with decorative carved label stops. Right hand return
wall has coped gable with kneelers and stack which runs at right angles to main
ridge of house and barn which are roofed continuously. Doorway leads to inner
door with decorated lintel bearing date. Single-aisled barn has former cart
entry set within a portal of aisle. Inserted windows in wide north gable which
has chamfered ventilator to apex. 2 other stacks.
