Public house, initialled and dated "TDIf'" . Thin coursed hammer dressed stone,
1737
stone slate roof. 2 storeys. Long building, with attached barn with segmental
arch (blocked) converted to form extra accommodation. Main interest in eastern
end, of 3 bays originally, to which barn was added early C19. This has 3 bays of
thin flat faced mullioned windows of 2 wide lights with overlapping lintels and
sills (altered glazing). Doorway with monolithic jambs has deep lintel bearing
carved inscription. Quoins to right hand end. Coped gable with kneelers. 2
stacks to ridge.
