School and school house, now 2 houses. 1850. By Thomas Smith of Stourbridge.
Red brick with ashlar dressings; polychromatic slate roof with coped verges.
Aligned north-west/south-east facing south-west. Gothic style. School
to left, house attached to right. School. One storey on coped plinth.
About 5 bays, 3 central windows with segmental pointed heads and Geometric
tracery, each beneath a gable; the central gable has a bellcote. Flanking
2-leaf glazed doors. House: square tower of 2 storeys and attic to the
left with pyramidal roof; ground floor canted bay window with hipped roof,
2 segmental pointed windows to first floor, and one to attic with gable
over. Single-storey, single-bay wing to right with gabled attic dormer.
