Farmhouse. Early C17 incorporating some earlier elements. Red brick (English
bond) and timber framed rear wing with brick infill; plain tile roof; brick
external lateral stacks and end stack with star and lozenge shaped shafts.
Aligned north-east/south-west facing south-east, with 2 rear wings aligned north-
west/south-east. 2 storeys and attic; 4 bays, each with crow stepped gable and
finial. 2 storey square bay windows to left and right with crenellated parapets,
2 storey porch to right of centre with segmental arched doorway and crow stepped
gable. Mullioned windows with brick dripstones, some are rebated; mainly 3-light
windows, those to first floor right, left and left of centre are transomed, ground
and first floor 2-light windows between porch and right hand bay, small blocked
windows to ground floor left of centre and first floor immediately left of porch,
C19/20 ground floor casements to left, right and centre, partly within C17 openings.
To the rear a gabled timber framed wing, probably late C16; close studding,
jettied first floor, blocked attic window retaining wooden mullions. Interior not
inspected but noted as having panelled window shutters.
