Barn to east of Sefton Farmhouse

Barn. Datestone reads: "TS/RS 1706ยจ. Dressed stone with
stone slate roof. 4-bay barn has 2-storey gabled projecting
bay and later lean-to cow-house, now garage. Rear brick
outshut. Entrance with barn doors. Wing has 2-light single-
chamfered-mullioned window with label mould to 1st floor;
datestone above has cable mould, anchor, wheel and flowers.
Label mould. Returns of wing have remains of flat-mullioned
windows; entrance to left return, and raking buttress.
Ventilation slots. Interior has collar and tie beam trusses;
remains of wattle and daub partition to wing. Right return
has bull's eye with slot behind. 1st floor of wing probably
originally paddy house.
