Canal accommodation bridge: 1777 by James Brindley for the Trent and
Mersey Canal Co. Washed English bond brick with red sandstone
dressings. Low segmental arch on raking jambs. Dentilated brick band
at road level with plain parapet and stone coping. Bridge ends in
pilasters with lower but similar wing walls to the side.
