House and offices. Mid C19. Grey gault brick, Flemish bond with stone
details. Roof obscured by parapet with stone coping and moulded main
cornice. Three storeys. Main elevation and doorway to Market Place. Range
of three recessed, nine pane hung sashes to attic storey above a plain brick
band. Similar, larger windows of twelve panes to first floor. Ground floor
has chancelled rustication and moulded band of stucco. Three steps up to
doorway in porch with rusticated piers. Doorway in round headed arch with
fanlight with glazing bars. Original canted bay to left hand of doorway and
recessed hung sash to right hand. Corner with blind round headed recess and
raised surround above doorway.
