Public House. Late C17, altered C20. Granite rubble stone and whitewashed
rendered brick and C20 corrugated tile roof with two brick ridge stacks. C2O
facade of two storeys of four wooden mullion and transom windows : 2 2-lights
and 2 3-lights. On ground floor, from left, plank door, 2-light, carriage entrance
with double doors, 2 3-lights and 6-panelled door with overlight. Brick dressings
and band. Left end wall is of granite rubble stone with corrugated coping.
Rear wing of two storeys has tie beam truss on gable end, and is said to have
inglenook hood remaining with stairs up the side, and to have been dated 1683.
