Public house, probably late C18 or early C19 and c1840. Brick, painted front
wall with gable end repaired C20. Thatched with reed and hipped to right
hand. End stack. Two storeys. Two hung sashes, the heads flush with the
eaves. Segmental arches to two larger hung sashes, each with margin lights.
Doorway in round headed arch. Adjoining at rear a house of c1840. Brick,
with slate roof. Two storeys. Two flush frame C20 windows at first floor.
Two sixteen pane hung sashes in segmental arches on either side of central
doorway, now blocked.
