Farmhouse and stable. Late C18 and early C19. Altered late C19.
Coursed and squared rubble and brick, rendered. Hipped and
gabled concrete tile and C20 pantile roofs. Ashlar plinth. 6
side wall stacks. 3 and 2 storeys, 3 bays. L-plan. Windows are
glazing bar and Yorkshire sashes and C20 casements. South front
has central flat roofed Doric portico, moulded doorcase and mid-
Cl9 half-glazed door with fanlight. Flanked by single mid-C20
French windows with overlights. To left, ramped buttress.
Above, 3 glazing bar sashes on each floor. East side and rear
wing have lean-to outbuilding flanked to left by blocked opening
and to right by 5 casements. Above, 3 sashes and a casement.
Above, again, to left, a sash. Rear wing return angle has to
left, mid-C20 glazed porch and to right, a casement. Above, C18
flush mullioned casement. North side has to right, lean-to
single storey addition. Irregular C20 fenestration. To right,
main block has late C19 gabled and lean-to additions, single and
2 storeys, with 2 sashes. Above, to left, a sash. Above again,
to right, a sash on each floor. West side has a flush mullioned
casement, flanked to left by a door and to right by a casement.
Beyond, to right, a sash and a door. Above, a casement flanked
to left by single, and to right by 2 flush mullioned casements.
Adjoining stable, 9 bays, has slate roof. South side has to
east, casement and door. North side has off-centre opening
flanked to left by 2 doors and slatted casement, and to right by
2 doors and 2 slatted casements. Interior has framed dogleg
stair, 2 mid C19 fireplaces, 6 panelled and 3 C18 plank doors.
