Corner block of offices and shops. Dated 1887 by Ernest George and
Peto. Lively terracotta facing, slate roof Northern Renaissance
style. 5 main storeys and double attics. 4 windows to Piccadilly,
splayed corner and 5 window return to Albemarle Street. Shops to
ground floor between original piers with entablature, corner entrance.
4 rectangular bays of mullioned and transomed casement windows
through 1st to 3rd floors with painted tent roofs. Albemarle
return has 2 archways; one with entrance and balcony above;
mullioned transomed windows. Eaves cornice to roof with 2 large
shaped gables to each front now lacking their flanking consoles.
Tiered dormers and large decorated chimney stacks.
