Terrace house with shop. c.1800 with c.1840-50 attic storey. Stock brick,
concealed roof. 5 storeys. 3 windows wide. Ground floor has later C.20
shop front in remains of mid C.l9 frame with square headed house doorway to
right. 1st to 3rd floors have recessed glazing bar sashes under flat
gauged arches, those on 1st floor with stucco surrounds added. The attic
has square headed panels containing casement windows recessed for one order
under flat gauged arches. c.1840-50 brick dentil cornice over 3rd floor
and similar cornice to attic. Included for group interest in this street
of apparently early C.19 houses in fact built as part of the 1630s Bedford
Estate development of Covent Garden. Included for Group Value only.
