Terrace house with shop. Early C.l9 rebuild or refronting of C.17/C.18
house. Stock brick, concealed roof. 4 storeys. 2 windows wide. Ground
floor with later C.20 shop front, plain square headed doorway to right.
Upper floors have recessed glazing bar sashes, those on 1st and 2nd floors
with stucco architraves and with console bracketed cornices on 1st floor,
the 3rd floor sashes under flat gauged arches. Stucco cornice and blocking
course. Included for group interest in this street laid out in the 1630s
as part of the Bedford Estate Covent Garden development.
