Farmhouse. Probably C17. Coursed rubble, tiled roof hipped to ridge, end
stack to left, front of right hand gable and stack with detached diamond
stacks roughly central. L-plan, forward projection towards south. Two
storeys, 3 windows, early C19 3-light casements: 2 to left in main range,
one to right of stack of cross-wing; upper windows are placed above ground
floor windows and are of same type; entrance to left of cross-wing from top
of flight of 4 steps under tiled pitched-roofed porch with weatherboarded
gable through C19 ledged door hung on strap hinges. To left of entrance a
lean-to covers steps down to cellar under entrance room. Cross-wing extended
to rear by one window in late C18 to early C19. Interior: (not inspected)
plank and muntin screen to left of entrance (RCHM).
