Pedestal tomb: early C19; stone. Ogee head, ending torus
moulding above 2 off-sets, on widely-projecting top with moulded
edge. Sides have square-recessed corners, fluted frieze over
recessed oval panel. Moulded top to plinth. original
inscription illegible; also commemorates Elizabeth, his wife, who
died 1837. Monument identical with that to N. Wakefield adjoining
(q.v.).
