SJ 60 NW WROXETER C.P. RUSHTON

- Farm Cottages

GV II

House, now divided. Probably C16, rebuilt in mid-to late C19 and late C20.
Timber framed, rebuilt in red brick; plain tile roof. One storey and
attic. Gabled eaves dormers with 2-light wooden casements, 3 to south-
east and 2 to north-west; 2 brick ridge stacks off-centre to left and
right. South-east front: 2 three-light C20 casements to right, 2-light
C19 wooden casement to left; central door with 4 flush panels (upper
panels glazed) and gabled brick porch with round arch; C20 gabled addition
projecting at left with half-glazed door in left-hand return front. Left-
hand gable end with first floor 2-light segmental-headed wooden casement
and ground-floor 3-light casement. Gabled porch to No. 2 at rear. Interior:
full cruck truss between cottages; further cruck trusses might remain
concealed.
