Farmhouse. Probably C17 or C18, with early C19 alterations and early C20
addition. Coursed thin rubble; brick, stone slate and tiled roofs. Three
parts stepped from left to right. Centre part has 2 room plan to front
elevation with lower service extension to right. Left part is early C20:
end stacks to left and right, 2 storeys, 2 windows with regularly placed
metal casements. Centre part shares stack with left hand extension: stone
slate roof, 2 (lower) storeys, 2 windows consisting of early C19 casements
with 9 panes, the centre 3 of which open, one on either side of central
entrance and 2 above; entrance through slate-roofed gabled porch of c1900
and ledged door. Attached to right is a one-and-a-half storey 2 bay
extension with right end stack, square window opening to right and a 2-light
C18 casement to rear elevation. Interior not inspected.
