House and attached barn. 2nd quarter C18. Hammer-dressed stone,
stone slate roof. 2 storeys. 2-cell, baffle-entry plan, double-
depth. Quoins. Lean-to porch covers original doorway with
chamfered surround. 2-bays of 3-light flat-faced, stepped,
mullioned windows which have an inner chamfer. Coped gables with
kneelers. That to left has stack, one other central stack to
ridge. Rear has window with double-chamfered surround (lights
dairy) and semicircular-arched stair window to left of small windows
with plain stone surrounds.
Interior: windows to south front have segmental-arched lintels with
shutters and window seats. Housebody has baffle-entry against
fireplace and stop-chamfered spine beams. Staircase set at rear
between scullery and pantry; stone shelves in pantry. Some
original C18 panelled doors, and cellar. Barn attached to left
with lower roof line: 5 bays. Tall cart-entry with composite
jambs with mistal doorway with quoined lintel to left end. Coped
gable With a kneelers to left. Interior: oak fishbone king-post roof.
