House in row. Probably early C19, modified. Brick, Flemish bond, colourwashed on facade; plain clay tiled Mansard roof
between coped gables: brick end chimney stacks. Two storeys with attic, 3 bays. Sash windows in segmental arched
openings with gauged brick arches, now 6-panes each; blind upper panel bay 2; part glazed door in matching opening
lower bay 2: on both sides lower single-bay extensions with ordinary roofs; sawtooth dentilled eaves courses: left
extension has 16-pane sash windows at both levels, the lower in a segmental-arched opening; the right has similar
window above, but below a metal garage door and a plain boarded door. Interior not seen. About 3 metres west of house
are wrot-iron railings about 900 mm high, with barbed spearpoints to middle and top rails, and an ornate pair of
matching gates opposite the door with curved top rails; all adding to the setting of the house and to the
streetscene.
