Cottage. Late C17 or early C18 with later alterations and additions.
Timber framed with painted brick nogging; plain tile roof. One framed
bay. One storey and attic. External painted brick end stack to right;
central C20 flat-topped eaves dormer with two 2-light casements. Framing:
square panels, 3 from sole-plate to wall-plate; long straight tension
braces. Mid- to late C19 two-light wooden casement to right; central
half-glazed C20 door and C20 gabled porch with window to front and boarded
door in left-hand return front. Late C20 flat-roofed one-storey addition
to right with 3-light casement to front. Interior: complete timber frame
surviving. Included as a complete example of a one unit cottage.
