House. Late C16 or C17 with late C20 alterations and additions. Timber
framed with painted brick nogging on rubble plinth; painted brick additions;
plain tile roof. 'Hall' range of 2 framed bays with gabled flush cross-
wing to north of one framed bay; later additions. Former integral brick
end stack at rear of cross-wing, now ridge stack because of addition.
Framing: square panels, 4 from sole-plate to wall-plate; short straight
braces. North front: 2 first-floor C20 casements and ground-floor C20
casement to right; small probably late C19 porch and outbuilding at right-
angles to left with integral brick end stack, segmental-headed 2-light
casement to front, and pair of boarded doors in right-hand return front;
large C20 gabled addition projecting at right-angles to right with integral
brick end stack and two 3-light segmental-headed casements on each floor.
Collar and tie-beam truss with queen-struts and V-struts exposed in cross-
wing gable-end. Main entrance now to west.
