Shuttleworth Estate cottage, formerly divided into 2 properties. C17,
reworked C19 in cottage ornee style. Plaque shows 1879 and Shuttleworth
emblem. Timber framed construction with colourwashed roughcast render and C19
applied decorative timber framing. Thatched roof. 2-room plan, one storey
and attics. SW elevation: ground floor has 3 windows, attic has 2 eyebrow
dormers, all paired pointed arched lights with diamond leading. 2 pointed
arched doors with diamond panelling. Off-centre red brick paired diagonal
ridge stacks. Road gable end has paired lights to attic, and ground floor
canted bay with corbelled base and hexagonal and diamond leading. Includes
former No 20.
