C18. Rendered red brick shell to an older building. Tiled roof, ½ hipped, with
C17 large cruciform chimney in centre, stacks set diagonally on square base. 2
storeys, 3 windows, early C19 casements above and barred sashes below. Later central
porch. This house is thought to have been the original Efford Manor before Efford
House (qv) was built in the earlier C19. At rear, attached to the house by a covered
walkway, is a good example of a purpose built, mid C19 dairy. Brick double skin
with piers. Tiled floor below ground level and barrel vaulted roof. 3 round arched
windows with double glazing on north wall. South wall facing house has centre
round arched door between similar flanking windows.
