Terrace of 5 houses, now offices. c1830, with C20 alterations.
3 storeys, 10-window range, variably planned as single or
two-room width, double-pile plans. Doorways to left of each
unit have architraves with fluted pilasters recessed in
segmental archways, a single fanlight surviving in No.29.
16-pane sash windows to left in return of St George's House
(qv) and No.25; the others mainly renewed in original
openings; flat-arched gauged brick heads to windows
throughout; continuous painted sill band to first floor. Wood
modillion eaves cornice. Return elevation to west (No.2 High
Street) a 3-window range with porch added c1980 and blind
central window space. Axial stacks. The terrace forms an
integral build with St George's House (qv), St George's Street
and St George's Street Mill beyond (qv).
