Eight almshouses built around courtyard. C13 origins, destroyed in Siege of Lynn 1643, rebuilt 1649, restored 1904, restored and modernised 1965.

Brick. Plaintile roofs. One storey. North side is entrance. Gable ends of east and west wings close facade with Dutch gables. Gabled entrance with double-leaf timber studded door. Datestone in gable commemorates rebuilding 1649 following fire. Three three-light casement windows, the one immediately right of entrance with double
sunk-quadrant mouldings. Short passage leads to courtyard. Plank doors to interiors, all with dog-gates and all under gabled hoods on brackets. Casements mainly C18, but five retains a two-light sunk-quadrant moulded window. Two ridge stacks to north and south wings, one to others. North-east stack with stone sundial slab dated 1738. In centre of court is a cast-iron hexagonal water pump.

INTERIOR. Little visible. Large arched braces to collars date from 1904.
