House, now shops and flats. Mid C16. Brick. Plain tiled roof
to front, pantiled to rear. E-plan. 2 storeys and attic in 5
bays plus additional projection to east. Central gabled porch
with gabled cross wings projecting right and left. Moulded
brick string course at first floor. Porch entrance now
altered. Ground floors of cross wings with C20 shopfronts. All
ground-floor windows and first-floor windows to projecting
bays with moulded brick pediments, that to east cross wing
missing. Fenestration of C19 cross casements, sashes and C20
casements, mostly in reduced openings. All 3 gables to front
are straight and have kneelers and tumbling. Hipped roof. 2
ridge stacks. Rear with C20 extensions. INTERIOR. Only ground
floor accessible at time of Review. No features of interest
survive. The same situation said to pertain to rooms above.
