Pair of cottages. Late C18, refronted in early C19, and with
later C19 alteration. Front of orange-red brick in English
garden-wall bond, on stone plinth; rear of coursed squared
stone. Stone copings and moulded kneelers to pantile roof, and
brick end stacks. 2 storeys with cellars; 3-window front.
Paired C20 doors with overlights, in centre, approached by
single flight of steps. Cellar windows beneath ground floor
windows are 2x9-pane sliding sashes. Remaining windows are
4-pane sashes with painted stone sills, first floor centre one
blind. All openings have painted wedge lintels. Rear:
2x12-pane sliding sash window with keyed wedge lintel to right
of first floor; similar opening, with 4-pane sash, to left.
