West Bromwich Clock, Dartmouth Square
II
Clock. 1912. Cast-iron. A column with Ionic capital stands on a base of square plan and supports an entablature, the cornice of which forms the base of the upper stage. This has circular glazed clock faces on four sides, each with a swag under and pediment over. The top is domed. The column is inscribed: "Councillor J Archibald Kenrick was Mayor
November 1912 and presented this clock to the Borough".
Planning permission and listed building consent were granted in 2000 for the relocation of the clock off the traffic island in the road junction, to its current position.
