1/53 Woodlane Farmhouse
GV II
Farmhouse, probably mid C17. Coursed rubble with slate roof, 2 storeys,
T-plan. Stem of T contains a renewed 3-light casement to each floor on inner
face. West wing has central doorway, now blocked in 4 centred arch with hood-
mould, and a casement window in each side: those on right renewed to each
floor, to left, the lower window retains a chamfered timber lintel. Coped
gables, old brick gable and axial stacks. Insurance sign on west gable wall.
Rear wall has various casement windows, and 2 doorways one onto through passage
suggesting that it may at one time have been 2 dwellings.
