House, part dated 1683, and perhaps formerly 2 dwellings, both late C17
early C18, joined together at a later date. Coursed rubble throughout with
modern tiled roof. Dated range has gable onto street, and is 2 storeys,
a 2-unit plan with 2 2-light stone mullioned window with hoodmould to ground
floor over one of which is the datestone with initials, J.B. On 1st floor
is one long narrow window and a 2-light casement. Stone gable end stacks.
A lower single cell links this with a right angled wing which is of 1½
storeys, a 2 -unit plan with door in the angle, below a stack, a blocked
windows alongside it, and a 2-light casement window with chamfered timber
lintel. Single gabled dormer above. 2 brick stacks; one on the right hand
gable end.
