Former Oil Store

A Grade II Listed Building in Worsley, Salford

Former Oil Store

Uploader's Comments

According to Worsley Heritage this former oil store was constructed in 1854 as a granary but never used as such and became a store for the oil used by miners lamps and steam powered barges. To reduce the risk of fire the builders used only stone and metal in the construction using no timber parts.
The building is now residential apartments.
